“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they are falling in.” - Desmond Tutu
Our Neighbors are in Need
Too many people are forced to surrender their pets
Too many dogs & cats are homeless in shelters
Too many pet owners cannot afford vet care
Too many in the community suffer when pets suffer
Too many pets are hurting
“Thank you so much for this heartworm clinic! Two years ago I was out of work for almost a year due to illness. This was a godsend to make sure my dogs had heartworm prevention. And an added bonus I found my new vet whom we just love!! Thank you 🙏🏼 ”
Clinics
All Heart. No Worms.
Our monthly clinics provide low-cost heartworm and flea prevention and heartworm treatment to pet owners. We also offer Wellness Clinics, veterinary assistance, and a special clinic for pets of the homeless. Find out more about our outreach efforts and affiliate program and how to start your own heartworm prevention clinics.
Education
Focusing on the Next Generation of Pet Owners
Geared toward teaching responsible pet ownership to the next generation, TIP's lessons help students develop social - emotional skills and practical knowledge. We do this through our two-week Canine Compassion curriculum, after-school club, Sit-Stay-Read, and digital classroom.
“I, for one, would have to give my elderly fur babies up if it were not for Inner Pup...They would end up in a shelter, where no one would want them because they’re too old...well, they’re NOT too old to love and neither am I, that’s what Inner Pup means to me...we are loved....”
